A Mixed Bag
I always enjoy Bella Andre’s books. She’s one of my go-to authors so I was unprepared for the disappointment that crept over me as I read “You Do Something To Me”. The plot is strong and entertaining and the pacing dragged early on but picked up about a quarter of the way in. The main characters, Alec Sullivan and Cordelia Langley, are a mixed bag. Alec is not especially likable at first but grows on you as his depths and complexities are revealed. Cordelia on the other hand, is seemingly perfect. With no flaws, she’s too patient, too sweet, too forgiving, too smart, too beautiful. She’s too much. Also, I can’t recall a Bella Andre book more in need of some scrupulous editing. As annoying as they are, typos seem inevitable in the world of ebooks but not so for mangled sentences, redundancies, trite/stale phrasing and fluffy prose. Each of the last 5 or 6 books I’ve read contained two or more uses of “beyond a shadow of a doubt”. I expected better of Ms Andre. Even though it’s technically correct, I’m still puzzling over her use of the British term “bespoke” instead of the more recognizable “tailor-made, custom made, or custom tailored.” Why? And since I’m on a rant, potatoes are root vegetables. Since they’re usually planted 10-12” deep, they must be “dug” to be harvested. All in all, #17 in The Sullivans series is an okay read. Though I must admit, the love scenes are off the charts hot, which is all good.

Sullivan's keep getting better!
Bella Andre has a way of writing a series that keeps your interest throughout the entire series. While Alex is a complex personality and Cordelia is so sweet that you would hesitate to think they could get along, Bella develops their story beautifully. Keeping up with the entire Sullivan family is an added benefit. I can't wait for Harry's story; plus the Maine side of the family.

"You Do Something To Me" (The New York Sullivans Book 3/The Sullivans Book 17) by Bella Andre is a fantastic read. I loved Alec and Cordelia's story. This is a wonderful addition to The Sullivans Series. I just can't pick a favorite Sullivan. I love them all. I can't wait to see what happened next with this wonderful family. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, family, entertaining characters, and series.

I received this ARC for an honest review. Alec has become my second favorite Sullivan. He is strong, thoughtful, and yes stubborn. Cordelia is his match. She refuses to be intimidated by anyone. I love how Bella wrote these characters. Even though this is her 17th Sullivan book, she still giving us a fresh story line. This book is a roller coaster ride of emotions. Please give it a try.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book, You Do Something To Me by Bella Andre. Getting a Bella Andre ARC is like Christmas, payday, your birthday and your anniversary all rolled into one. Yeah, that great!!! You Do Something To Me is definitely one of Bella’s best ever written books. Alec just lost his business partner and if that isn’t bad enough, he is thrown for a major loop when he learns that Gordon had a daughter no one knew about and he left everything to her. Cordelia is shocked to learn that her birth father, that she knew nothing about, left her everything in his will. They each have a lot they are dealing with but just maybe they can get through it together.

I'm so happy I have finished reading "You Do Something to Me". I am also sad that I have finished reading, since I really wanted the story to keep going. Alec Sullivan is a Billionaire private aircraft owner. He meets the daughter of his recently deceased partner and he can't stop thinking about her. Cordelia Langley is an amazing gardener who owns her own garden center. She meets Alec after learning that her birth father left her half of his company and only lived a short distance from her all her life. Alec's emotionally painful childhood contributes to his adult belief that he can't love. Cordelia believes everyone should be loved. Becoming friends makes their relationship different for both of them. Family events open their eyes to see the past in a different way. Can viewing the past from an adult point of view change their friendship as well. Thank you Bella Andre for another wonderful Sullivan story!

Finding a strength in love you never knew!!
I love family sagas with a close knit family like the Sullivan's! Ms. Andre writes a beautiful story of love, family, strength, and being there for each other. This is my first Sullivan book to review. I have read the first six books already and have loved each and every one. Alec broke my heart believing that he did not deserve love and that he would let Cordelia down if he committed to her. Cordelia is so strong in character and love not only for her parents but for Alec, too. Both, Alec and Cordelia make it a point to be there for each other in their times of need. Slowly and methodically Cordelia changes Alec's mind and heart about love. It takes a major shift for Alec to finally let both his father and Cordelia completely into his heart and life. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review of "You Do Something To Me" by Bella Andre. If you love big families with strong characters and as always a HEA then this book is for you. Hot Alpha Male doesn't hurt either.

My favorite family!
Every time I think the Sullivan series can’t get any better, I’m proven wrong. I absolutely loved watching Alec fall in love with Cordelia. He was so hard headed, and determined to stay single to protect himself and his heart. He never saw Cordelia coming. Their story was sweet and I loved the romance. I definitely can’t wait for Harry’s story next.

Will Alex touch down for Cordelia?
Love, love, love Alec and Cordelia! Both Alec and Cordelia have the shock of their lives when Alec's business partner dies and that leads to their meeting. And the help they both provide in getting through their grief. Alec is a high-powered aviation executive and Cordelia owns and runs her own nursery. On paper, Alec and Cordelia do not seem to be two people that would work together or even worse is it that Cordelia is someone that Alec would have to take care of, just like he did when he was a child and had to take care of his siblings when his father was full of grief for his mother. In this case though, while Cordelia actually needs Alec, Alec also allows himself to need Cordelia and the relationship they build is beautiful. You will enjoy the appearance from many of the Sullivans and learn more about the New York Sullivans. Another must read - I couldn't put it down and can't wait to get more snippets from Alec in the future.

I love the Sullivan Series
I am grateful to be an ARC reader for my favorite series. I give you might honest opinion. It’s book 17, but book 3 for New York Summer Lake Sullivan’s. When Alec’s partner Gordon dies, he leave his estate to his daughter he gave up for adoption. Cordelia didn’t know her birth father and Alec didn’t know his best friend had a daughter but he feels very protective of her. Being the oldest of William’s children, Alec has been taking care of his sibling for a very long time. So at first being protective feels normal....but feelings grow and Alec doesn’t think he can do normal relationship. This is great story as all Sullivan come together and are reintroduced.

This series keeps getting better and better. I was looking forward to reading Alec’s story. I knew he would fight falling in love. Bella Andre did not disappoint. Special circumstances bought Alec and Cordelia. Even though the main characters came from different worlds, they found a connection.

Another Soaring Hit!
I don’t know how Bella Andre does it. She’s written so many Sullivan stories and each and every one is unique with well-rounded characters. She always manages to give us a great romance and as a bonus she weaves such great stories with the interactions of the Sullivan family. These stories are always sweet and manage to make me feel so good as I lose myself in the story. You Do Something To Me is another one of these excellent stories that Bella does so great! You Do Something To Me starts out when Alec Sullivan’s business partner and friend suddenly dies and he is shocked to find out that not only does his partner have a daughter, Cordelia, he never knew about, but that he left his half of the business to her. This was a shock to Alec, but he handled the situation so well, you can’t help but fall in love with him. Cordelia (I think this name is sooo perfect for her) is such a steady and strong heroine. She grew up knowing she was adopted and had a great childhood. She always knew what she wanted to do and is so comfortable with herself. I loved her! I must confess that I always have a favorite with the books I read- be it the hero, the heroine or a funny secondary character. In You Do Something To Me, Cordelia was my favorite. She truly ended up being Alec’s Knight In Shining Armor. This was a story I read straight through with a smile on my face and I so recommend it if you love sweet romances with real depth to the story. If you haven’t read a Sullivan story before (you have no idea what you are missing!), you can read this book as a standalone. But I have to warn you, once you read one Sullivan, you WILL want to read them all! I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this novel. I am voluntarily and freely providing an honest review

With an unexpected inheritance, Cordelia comes into his life. She was the daughter of Gordon, the man who had been a father figure for him. She would accept,but donate, she only wanted her garden world, to her he was a stranger. Alex was ready to make a deal, yet, something within him wanted to help her. Gordon wanted her to have it, now to figure out how. The heat between, as they, continued to see each other, couldn't be ignored. Great love story, and readers will once again love another Sullivan story. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

Turns out that there was a long lost daughter...enter Cordelia Langley. Cordelia grew up with loving parents, a simple life and everything she thought she wanted. She always knew she was adopted but it never bothered her, since she had everything she needed. Her plants and nursery, her simple life...enter Alec Sullivan.... This is a love story. It is about redemption from the past, letting go of regrets and grabbing on to the future you never knew you wanted. Once again, Bella brings the characters to life with her beautiful words, capturing the same spirit we have come to love from all of the Sullivans. Can’t wait for Harry’s HEA.

A good read
3.5 Stars This was an overall good read. I completely adored Cordelia. Even with the huge surprise that was thrown her way, she was a fantastic heroine. I had a lot of issues with Alec’s character. I get being jaded by the past and so on, but he came off more as a spoiled child throwing a temper tantrum than someone who was truly hurt from the past during some parts. Luckily he pulled his head outta his butt and I ended up loving him. Catching up with previous Sullivan’s might have been my favorite part of this book, and seeing the NY Sullivan’s finally begin to heal. While this definitely isn’t one of my top Sullivan reads, I would still recommend grabbing it.

Will Alex touch down for Cordelia?
Love, love, love Alec and Cordelia! Both Alec and Cordelia have the shock of their lives when Alec's business partner dies and that leads to their meeting. And the help they both provide in getting through their grief. Alec is a high-powered aviation executive and Cordelia owns and runs her own nursery. On paper, Alec and Cordelia do not seem to be two people that would work together or even worse is it that Cordelia is someone that Alec would have to take care of, just like he did when he was a child and had to take care of his siblings when his father was full of grief for his mother. In this case though, while Cordelia actually needs Alec, Alec also allows himself to need Cordelia and the relationship they build is beautiful. You will enjoy the appearance from many of the Sullivans and learn more about the New York Sullivans. Another must read - I couldn't put it down and can't wait to get more snippets from Alec in the future.

I love the Sullivan Series
I am grateful to be an ARC reader for my favorite series. I give you might honest opinion. It’s book 17, but book 3 for New York Summer Lake Sullivan’s. When Alec’s partner Gordon dies, he leave his estate to his daughter he gave up for adoption. Cordelia didn’t know her birth father and Alec didn’t know his best friend had a daughter but he feels very protective of her. Being the oldest of William’s children, Alec has been taking care of his sibling for a very long time. So at first being protective feels normal....but feelings grow and Alec doesn’t think he can do normal relationship. This is great story as all Sullivan come together and are reintroduced.

This series keeps getting better and better. I was looking forward to reading Alec’s story. I knew he would fight falling in love. Bella Andre did not disappoint. Special circumstances bought Alec and Cordelia. Even though the main characters came from different worlds, they found a connection.

Another Soaring Hit!
I don’t know how Bella Andre does it. She’s written so many Sullivan stories and each and every one is unique with well-rounded characters. She always manages to give us a great romance and as a bonus she weaves such great stories with the interactions of the Sullivan family. These stories are always sweet and manage to make me feel so good as I lose myself in the story. You Do Something To Me is another one of these excellent stories that Bella does so great! You Do Something To Me starts out when Alec Sullivan’s business partner and friend suddenly dies and he is shocked to find out that not only does his partner have a daughter, Cordelia, he never knew about, but that he left his half of the business to her. This was a shock to Alec, but he handled the situation so well, you can’t help but fall in love with him. Cordelia (I think this name is sooo perfect for her) is such a steady and strong heroine. She grew up knowing she was adopted and had a great childhood. She always knew what she wanted to do and is so comfortable with herself. I loved her! I must confess that I always have a favorite with the books I read- be it the hero, the heroine or a funny secondary character. In You Do Something To Me, Cordelia was my favorite. She truly ended up being Alec’s Knight In Shining Armor. This was a story I read straight through with a smile on my face and I so recommend it if you love sweet romances with real depth to the story. If you haven’t read a Sullivan story before (you have no idea what you are missing!), you can read this book as a standalone. But I have to warn you, once you read one Sullivan, you WILL want to read them all! I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this novel. I am voluntarily and freely providing an honest review

With an unexpected inheritance, Cordelia comes into his life. She was the daughter of Gordon, the man who had been a father figure for him. She would accept,but donate, she only wanted her garden world, to her he was a stranger. Alex was ready to make a deal, yet, something within him wanted to help her. Gordon wanted her to have it, now to figure out how. The heat between, as they, continued to see each other, couldn't be ignored. Great love story, and readers will once again love another Sullivan story. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

A good read
3.5 Stars This was an overall good read. I completely adored Cordelia. Even with the huge surprise that was thrown her way, she was a fantastic heroine. I had a lot of issues with Alec’s character. I get being jaded by the past and so on, but he came off more as a spoiled child throwing a temper tantrum than someone who was truly hurt from the past during some parts. Luckily he pulled his head outta his butt and I ended up loving him. Catching up with previous Sullivan’s might have been my favorite part of this book, and seeing the NY Sullivan’s finally begin to heal. While this definitely isn’t one of my top Sullivan reads, I would still recommend grabbing it.

A Mixed Bag
I always enjoy Bella Andre’s books. She’s one of my go-to authors so I was unprepared for the disappointment that crept over me as I read “You Do Something To Me”. The plot is strong and entertaining and the pacing dragged early on but picked up about a quarter of the way in. The main characters, Alec Sullivan and Cordelia Langley, are a mixed bag. Alec is not especially likable at first but grows on you as his depths and complexities are revealed. Cordelia on the other hand, is seemingly perfect. With no flaws, she’s too patient, too sweet, too forgiving, too smart, too beautiful. She’s too much. Also, I can’t recall a Bella Andre book more in need of some scrupulous editing. As annoying as they are, typos seem inevitable in the world of ebooks but not so for mangled sentences, redundancies, trite/stale phrasing and fluffy prose. Each of the last 5 or 6 books I’ve read contained two or more uses of “beyond a shadow of a doubt”. I expected better of Ms Andre. Even though it’s technically correct, I’m still puzzling over her use of the British term “bespoke” instead of the more recognizable “tailor-made, custom made, or custom tailored.” Why? And since I’m on a rant, potatoes are root vegetables. Since they’re usually planted 10-12” deep, they must be “dug” to be harvested. All in all, #17 in The Sullivans series is an okay read. Though I must admit, the love scenes are off the charts hot, which is all good.

Sullivan's keep getting better!
Bella Andre has a way of writing a series that keeps your interest throughout the entire series. While Alex is a complex personality and Cordelia is so sweet that you would hesitate to think they could get along, Bella develops their story beautifully. Keeping up with the entire Sullivan family is an added benefit. I can't wait for Harry's story; plus the Maine side of the family.

"You Do Something To Me" (The New York Sullivans Book 3/The Sullivans Book 17) by Bella Andre is a fantastic read. I loved Alec and Cordelia's story. This is a wonderful addition to The Sullivans Series. I just can't pick a favorite Sullivan. I love them all. I can't wait to see what happened next with this wonderful family. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, family, entertaining characters, and series.

I received this ARC for an honest review. Alec has become my second favorite Sullivan. He is strong, thoughtful, and yes stubborn. Cordelia is his match. She refuses to be intimidated by anyone. I love how Bella wrote these characters. Even though this is her 17th Sullivan book, she still giving us a fresh story line. This book is a roller coaster ride of emotions. Please give it a try.

Nothing Better Than A Bella Andre Book!!
I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book, You Do Something To Me by Bella Andre. Getting a Bella Andre ARC is like Christmas, payday, your birthday and your anniversary all rolled into one. Yeah, that great!!! You Do Something To Me is definitely one of Bella’s best ever written books. Alec just lost his business partner and if that isn’t bad enough, he is thrown for a major loop when he learns that Gordon had a daughter no one knew about and he left everything to her. Cordelia is shocked to learn that her birth father, that she knew nothing about, left her everything in his will. They each have a lot they are dealing with but just maybe they can get through it together.

I'm so happy I have finished reading "You Do Something to Me". I am also sad that I have finished reading, since I really wanted the story to keep going. Alec Sullivan is a Billionaire private aircraft owner. He meets the daughter of his recently deceased partner and he can't stop thinking about her. Cordelia Langley is an amazing gardener who owns her own garden center. She meets Alec after learning that her birth father left her half of his company and only lived a short distance from her all her life. Alec's emotionally painful childhood contributes to his adult belief that he can't love. Cordelia believes everyone should be loved. Becoming friends makes their relationship different for both of them. Family events open their eyes to see the past in a different way. Can viewing the past from an adult point of view change their friendship as well. Thank you Bella Andre for another wonderful Sullivan story!

Love the Sullivans!
Alec Sullivan has always had to care for his siblings since the death of his mother and his father falling apart with grief. Now a successful business man he believes he has it all. He is happy his siblings are finding love but that is something he wants no part of. Cordelia has just found out that her biological father left his entire estate to her. Overwhelmed and shocked her father was so close but never reached out in walks Alex into her life. Life threw Alec and Cordelia a curve but in the best possible way. Now Alec needs to figure out that love is exactly what he needs and Cordelia is the woman perfect for him. So ready for Harry’s story.

Finding a strength in love you never knew!!
I love family sagas with a close knit family like the Sullivan's! Ms. Andre writes a beautiful story of love, family, strength, and being there for each other. This is my first Sullivan book to review. I have read the first six books already and have loved each and every one. Alec broke my heart believing that he did not deserve love and that he would let Cordelia down if he committed to her. Cordelia is so strong in character and love not only for her parents but for Alec, too. Both, Alec and Cordelia make it a point to be there for each other in their times of need. Slowly and methodically Cordelia changes Alec's mind and heart about love. It takes a major shift for Alec to finally let both his father and Cordelia completely into his heart and life. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review of "You Do Something To Me" by Bella Andre. If you love big families with strong characters and as always a HEA then this book is for you. Hot Alpha Male doesn't hurt either.

Every time I think the Sullivan series can’t get any better, I’m proven wrong. I absolutely loved watching Alec fall in love with Cordelia. He was so hard headed, and determined to stay single to protect himself and his heart. He never saw Cordelia coming. Their story was sweet and I loved the romance. I definitely can’t wait for Harry’s story next.

A Mixed Bag
I always enjoy Bella Andre’s books. She’s one of my go-to authors so I was unprepared for the disappointment that crept over me as I read “You Do Something To Me”. The plot is strong and entertaining and the pacing dragged early on but picked up about a quarter of the way in. The main characters, Alec Sullivan and Cordelia Langley, are a mixed bag. Alec is not especially likable at first but grows on you as his depths and complexities are revealed. Cordelia on the other hand, is seemingly perfect. With no flaws, she’s too patient, too sweet, too forgiving, too smart, too beautiful. She’s too much. Also, I can’t recall a Bella Andre book more in need of some scrupulous editing. As annoying as they are, typos seem inevitable in the world of ebooks but not so for mangled sentences, redundancies, trite/stale phrasing and fluffy prose. Each of the last 5 or 6 books I’ve read contained two or more uses of “beyond a shadow of a doubt”. I expected better of Ms Andre. Even though it’s technically correct, I’m still puzzling over her use of the British term “bespoke” instead of the more recognizable “tailor-made, custom made, or custom tailored.” Why? And since I’m on a rant, potatoes are root vegetables. Since they’re usually planted 10-12” deep, they must be “dug” to be harvested. All in all, #17 in The Sullivans series is an okay read. Though I must admit, the love scenes are off the charts hot, which is all good.

Sullivan's keep getting better!
Bella Andre has a way of writing a series that keeps your interest throughout the entire series. While Alex is a complex personality and Cordelia is so sweet that you would hesitate to think they could get along, Bella develops their story beautifully. Keeping up with the entire Sullivan family is an added benefit. I can't wait for Harry's story; plus the Maine side of the family.

"You Do Something To Me" (The New York Sullivans Book 3/The Sullivans Book 17) by Bella Andre is a fantastic read. I loved Alec and Cordelia's story. This is a wonderful addition to The Sullivans Series. I just can't pick a favorite Sullivan. I love them all. I can't wait to see what happened next with this wonderful family. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, family, entertaining characters, and series.

I received this ARC for an honest review. Alec has become my second favorite Sullivan. He is strong, thoughtful, and yes stubborn. Cordelia is his match. She refuses to be intimidated by anyone. I love how Bella wrote these characters. Even though this is her 17th Sullivan book, she still giving us a fresh story line. This book is a roller coaster ride of emotions. Please give it a try.

Nothing Better Than A Bella Andre Book!!
I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book, You Do Something To Me by Bella Andre. Getting a Bella Andre ARC is like Christmas, payday, your birthday and your anniversary all rolled into one. Yeah, that great!!! You Do Something To Me is definitely one of Bella’s best ever written books. Alec just lost his business partner and if that isn’t bad enough, he is thrown for a major loop when he learns that Gordon had a daughter no one knew about and he left everything to her. Cordelia is shocked to learn that her birth father, that she knew nothing about, left her everything in his will. They each have a lot they are dealing with but just maybe they can get through it together.

I'm so happy I have finished reading "You Do Something to Me". I am also sad that I have finished reading, since I really wanted the story to keep going. Alec Sullivan is a Billionaire private aircraft owner. He meets the daughter of his recently deceased partner and he can't stop thinking about her. Cordelia Langley is an amazing gardener who owns her own garden center. She meets Alec after learning that her birth father left her half of his company and only lived a short distance from her all her life. Alec's emotionally painful childhood contributes to his adult belief that he can't love. Cordelia believes everyone should be loved. Becoming friends makes their relationship different for both of them. Family events open their eyes to see the past in a different way. Can viewing the past from an adult point of view change their friendship as well. Thank you Bella Andre for another wonderful Sullivan story!

Love the Sullivans!
Alec Sullivan has always had to care for his siblings since the death of his mother and his father falling apart with grief. Now a successful business man he believes he has it all. He is happy his siblings are finding love but that is something he wants no part of. Cordelia has just found out that her biological father left his entire estate to her. Overwhelmed and shocked her father was so close but never reached out in walks Alex into her life. Life threw Alec and Cordelia a curve but in the best possible way. Now Alec needs to figure out that love is exactly what he needs and Cordelia is the woman perfect for him. So ready for Harry’s story.

Finding a strength in love you never knew!!
I love family sagas with a close knit family like the Sullivan's! Ms. Andre writes a beautiful story of love, family, strength, and being there for each other. This is my first Sullivan book to review. I have read the first six books already and have loved each and every one. Alec broke my heart believing that he did not deserve love and that he would let Cordelia down if he committed to her. Cordelia is so strong in character and love not only for her parents but for Alec, too. Both, Alec and Cordelia make it a point to be there for each other in their times of need. Slowly and methodically Cordelia changes Alec's mind and heart about love. It takes a major shift for Alec to finally let both his father and Cordelia completely into his heart and life. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review of "You Do Something To Me" by Bella Andre. If you love big families with strong characters and as always a HEA then this book is for you. Hot Alpha Male doesn't hurt either.

My favorite family!
Every time I think the Sullivan series can’t get any better, I’m proven wrong. I absolutely loved watching Alec fall in love with Cordelia. He was so hard headed, and determined to stay single to protect himself and his heart. He never saw Cordelia coming. Their story was sweet and I loved the romance. I definitely can’t wait for Harry’s story next.

Will Alex touch down for Cordelia?
Love, love, love Alec and Cordelia! Both Alec and Cordelia have the shock of their lives when Alec's business partner dies and that leads to their meeting. And the help they both provide in getting through their grief. Alec is a high-powered aviation executive and Cordelia owns and runs her own nursery. On paper, Alec and Cordelia do not seem to be two people that would work together or even worse is it that Cordelia is someone that Alec would have to take care of, just like he did when he was a child and had to take care of his siblings when his father was full of grief for his mother. In this case though, while Cordelia actually needs Alec, Alec also allows himself to need Cordelia and the relationship they build is beautiful. You will enjoy the appearance from many of the Sullivans and learn more about the New York Sullivans. Another must read - I couldn't put it down and can't wait to get more snippets from Alec in the future.

I love the Sullivan Series
I am grateful to be an ARC reader for my favorite series. I give you might honest opinion. It’s book 17, but book 3 for New York Summer Lake Sullivan’s. When Alec’s partner Gordon dies, he leave his estate to his daughter he gave up for adoption. Cordelia didn’t know her birth father and Alec didn’t know his best friend had a daughter but he feels very protective of her. Being the oldest of William’s children, Alec has been taking care of his sibling for a very long time. So at first being protective feels normal....but feelings grow and Alec doesn’t think he can do normal relationship. This is great story as all Sullivan come together and are reintroduced.

This series keeps getting better and better. I was looking forward to reading Alec’s story. I knew he would fight falling in love. Bella Andre did not disappoint. Special circumstances bought Alec and Cordelia. Even though the main characters came from different worlds, they found a connection.

Another Soaring Hit!
I don’t know how Bella Andre does it. She’s written so many Sullivan stories and each and every one is unique with well-rounded characters. She always manages to give us a great romance and as a bonus she weaves such great stories with the interactions of the Sullivan family. These stories are always sweet and manage to make me feel so good as I lose myself in the story. You Do Something To Me is another one of these excellent stories that Bella does so great! You Do Something To Me starts out when Alec Sullivan’s business partner and friend suddenly dies and he is shocked to find out that not only does his partner have a daughter, Cordelia, he never knew about, but that he left his half of the business to her. This was a shock to Alec, but he handled the situation so well, you can’t help but fall in love with him. Cordelia (I think this name is sooo perfect for her) is such a steady and strong heroine. She grew up knowing she was adopted and had a great childhood. She always knew what she wanted to do and is so comfortable with herself. I loved her! I must confess that I always have a favorite with the books I read- be it the hero, the heroine or a funny secondary character. In You Do Something To Me, Cordelia was my favorite. She truly ended up being Alec’s Knight In Shining Armor. This was a story I read straight through with a smile on my face and I so recommend it if you love sweet romances with real depth to the story. If you haven’t read a Sullivan story before (you have no idea what you are missing!), you can read this book as a standalone. But I have to warn you, once you read one Sullivan, you WILL want to read them all! I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this novel. I am voluntarily and freely providing an honest review

With an unexpected inheritance, Cordelia comes into his life. She was the daughter of Gordon, the man who had been a father figure for him. She would accept,but donate, she only wanted her garden world, to her he was a stranger. Alex was ready to make a deal, yet, something within him wanted to help her. Gordon wanted her to have it, now to figure out how. The heat between, as they, continued to see each other, couldn't be ignored. Great love story, and readers will once again love another Sullivan story. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

It is about redemption from the past, letting go of regrets and grabbing on to the future you never knew you wanted. A good read
3.5 Stars This was an overall good read. I completely adored Cordelia. Even with the huge surprise that was thrown her way, she was a fantastic heroine. I had a lot of issues with Alec’s character. I get being jaded by the past and so on, but he came off more as a spoiled child throwing a temper tantrum than someone who was truly hurt from the past during some parts. Luckily he pulled his head outta his butt and I ended up loving him. Catching up with previous Sullivan’s might have been my favorite part of this book, and seeing the NY Sullivan’s finally begin to heal. While this definitely isn’t one of my top Sullivan reads, I would still recommend grabbing it.

A good read
3.5 Stars This was an overall good read. I completely adored Cordelia. Even with the huge surprise that was thrown her way, she was a fantastic heroine. I had a lot of issues with Alec’s character. I get being jaded by the past and so on, but he came off more as a spoiled child throwing a temper tantrum than someone who was truly hurt from the past during some parts. Luckily he pulled his head outta his butt and I ended up loving him. Catching up with previous Sullivan’s might have been my favorite part of this book, and seeing the NY Sullivan’s finally begin to heal. While this definitely isn’t one of my top Sullivan reads, I would still recommend grabbing it.

A Mixed Bag
I always enjoy Bella Andre’s books. She’s one of my go-to authors so I was unprepared for the disappointment that crept over me as I read “You Do Something To Me”. The plot is strong and entertaining and the pacing dragged early on but picked up about a quarter of the way in. The main characters, Alec Sullivan and Cordelia Langley, are a mixed bag. Alec is not especially likable at first but grows on you as his depths and complexities are revealed. Cordelia on the other hand, is seemingly perfect. With no flaws, she’s too patient, too sweet, too forgiving, too smart, too beautiful. She’s too much. Also, I can’t recall a Bella Andre book more in need of some scrupulous editing. As annoying as they are, typos seem inevitable in the world of ebooks but not so for mangled sentences, redundancies, trite/stale phrasing and fluffy prose. Each of the last 5 or 6 books I’ve read contained two or more uses of “beyond a shadow of a doubt”. I expected better of Ms Andre. Even though it’s technically correct, I’m still puzzling over her use of the British term “bespoke” instead of the more recognizable “tailor-made, custom made, or custom tailored.” Why? And since I’m on a rant, potatoes are root vegetables. Since they’re usually planted 10-12” deep, they must be “dug” to be harvested. All in all, #17 in The Sullivans series is an okay read. Though I must admit, the love scenes are off the charts hot, which is all good.

Bella Andre has a way of writing a series that keeps your interest throughout the entire series. While Alex is a complex personality and Cordelia is so sweet that you would hesitate to think they could get along, Bella develops their story beautifully. Keeping up with the entire Sullivan family is an added benefit. I can't wait for Harry's story; plus the Maine side of the family.

This is a wonderful addition to The Sullivans Series. I just can't pick a favorite Sullivan. I love them all. I can't wait to see what happened next with this wonderful family. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, family, entertaining characters, and series.

I received this ARC for an honest review. Alec has become my second favorite Sullivan. He is strong, thoughtful, and yes stubborn. Cordelia is his match. She refuses to be intimidated by anyone. I love how Bella wrote these characters. Even though this is her 17th Sullivan book, she still giving us a fresh story line. This book is a roller coaster ride of emotions. Please give it a try.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book, You Do Something To Me by Bella Andre. Getting a Bella Andre ARC is like Christmas, payday, your birthday and your anniversary all rolled into one. Yeah, that great!!! You Do Something To Me is definitely one of Bella’s best ever written books. Alec just lost his business partner and if that isn’t bad enough, he is thrown for a major loop when he learns that Gordon had a daughter no one knew about and he left everything to her. Cordelia is shocked to learn that her birth father, that she knew nothing about, left her everything in his will. They each have a lot they are dealing with but just maybe they can get through it together.

I'm so happy I have finished reading "You Do Something to Me". I am also sad that I have finished reading, since I really wanted the story to keep going. Alec Sullivan is a Billionaire private aircraft owner. He meets the daughter of his recently deceased partner and he can't stop thinking about her. Cordelia Langley is an amazing gardener who owns her own garden center. She meets Alec after learning that her birth father left her half of his company and only lived a short distance from her all her life. Alec's emotionally painful childhood contributes to his adult belief that he can't love. Cordelia believes everyone should be loved. Becoming friends makes their relationship different for both of them. Family events open their eyes to see the past in a different way. Can viewing the past from an adult point of view change their friendship as well. Thank you Bella Andre for another wonderful Sullivan story!

I love family sagas with a close knit family like the Sullivan's! Ms. Andre writes a beautiful story of love, family, strength, and being there for each other. This is my first Sullivan book to review. I have read the first six books already and have loved each and every one. Alec broke my heart believing that he did not deserve love and that he would let Cordelia down if he committed to her. Cordelia is so strong in character and love not only for her parents but for Alec, too. Both, Alec and Cordelia make it a point to be there for each other in their times of need. Slowly and methodically Cordelia changes Alec's mind and heart about love. It takes a major shift for Alec to finally let both his father and Cordelia completely into his heart and life. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review of "You Do Something To Me" by Bella Andre. If you love big families with strong characters and as always a HEA then this book is for you. Hot Alpha Male doesn't hurt either.

My favorite family!
Every time I think the Sullivan series can’t get any better, I’m proven wrong. I absolutely loved watching Alec fall in love with Cordelia. He was so hard headed, and determined to stay single to protect himself and his heart. He never saw Cordelia coming. Their story was sweet and I loved the romance. I definitely can’t wait for Harry’s story next.

Will Alex touch down for Cordelia?
Love, love, love Alec and Cordelia! Both Alec and Cordelia have the shock of their lives when Alec's business partner dies and that leads to their meeting. And the help they both provide in getting through their grief. Alec is a high-powered aviation executive and Cordelia owns and runs her own nursery. On paper, Alec and Cordelia do not seem to be two people that would work together or even worse is it that Cordelia is someone that Alec would have to take care of, just like he did when he was a child and had to take care of his siblings when his father was full of grief for his mother. In this case though, while Cordelia actually needs Alec, Alec also allows himself to need Cordelia and the relationship they build is beautiful. You will enjoy the appearance from many of the Sullivans and learn more about the New York Sullivans. Another must read - I couldn't put it down and can't wait to get more snippets from Alec in the future.

I love the Sullivan Series
I am grateful to be an ARC reader for my favorite series. I give you might honest opinion. It’s book 17, but book 3 for New York Summer Lake Sullivan’s. When Alec’s partner Gordon dies, he leave his estate to his daughter he gave up for adoption. Cordelia didn’t know her birth father and Alec didn’t know his best friend had a daughter but he feels very protective of her. Being the oldest of William’s children, Alec has been taking care of his sibling for a very long time. So at first being protective feels normal....but feelings grow and Alec doesn’t think he can do normal relationship. This is great story as all Sullivan come together and are reintroduced.

This series keeps getting better and better. I was looking forward to reading Alec’s story. I knew he would fight falling in love. Bella Andre did not disappoint. Special circumstances bought Alec and Cordelia. Even though the main characters came from different worlds, they found a connection.

I don’t know how Bella Andre does it. She’s written so many Sullivan stories and each and every one is unique with well-rounded characters. She always manages to give us a great romance and as a bonus she weaves such great stories with the interactions of the Sullivan family. These stories are always sweet and manage to make me feel so good as I lose myself in the story. You Do Something To Me is another one of these excellent stories that Bella does so great! You Do Something To Me starts out when Alec Sullivan’s business partner and friend suddenly dies and he is shocked to find out that not only does his partner have a daughter, Cordelia, he never knew about, but that he left his half of the business to her. This was a shock to Alec, but he handled the situation so well, you can’t help but fall in love with him. Cordelia (I think this name is sooo perfect for her) is such a steady and strong heroine. She grew up knowing she was adopted and had a great childhood. She always knew what she wanted to do and is so comfortable with herself. I loved her! I must confess that I always have a favorite with the books I read- be it the hero, the heroine or a funny secondary character. In You Do Something To Me, Cordelia was my favorite. She truly ended up being Alec’s Knight In Shining Armor. This was a story I read straight through with a smile on my face and I so recommend it if you love sweet romances with real depth to the story. If you haven’t read a Sullivan story before (you have no idea what you are missing!), you can read this book as a standalone. But I have to warn you, once you read one Sullivan, you WILL want to read them all! I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this novel. I am voluntarily and freely providing an honest review

I love family sagas with a close knit family like the Sullivan's! Ms. Andre writes a beautiful story of love, family, strength, and being there for each other. This is my first Sullivan book to review. I have read the first six books already and have loved each and every one. Alec broke my heart believing that he did not deserve love and that he would let Cordelia down if he committed to her. Cordelia is so strong in character and love not only for her parents but for Alec, too. Both, Alec and Cordelia make it a point to be there for each other in their times of need. Slowly and methodically Cordelia changes Alec's mind and heart about love. It takes a major shift for Alec to finally let both his father and Cordelia completely into his heart and life. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review of "You Do Something To Me" by Bella Andre. If you love big families with strong characters and as always a HEA then this book is for you. Hot Alpha Male doesn't hurt either.

My favorite family!
Every time I think the Sullivan series can’t get any better, I’m proven wrong. I absolutely loved watching Alec fall in love with Cordelia. He was so hard headed, and determined to stay single to protect himself and his heart. He never saw Cordelia coming. Their story was sweet and I loved the romance. I definitely can’t wait for Harry’s story next.

Will Alex touch down for Cordelia?
Love, love, love Alec and Cordelia! Both Alec and Cordelia have the shock of their lives when Alec's business partner dies and that leads to their meeting. And the help they both provide in getting through their grief. Alec is a high-powered aviation executive and Cordelia owns and runs her own nursery. On paper, Alec and Cordelia do not seem to be two people that would work together or even worse is it that Cordelia is someone that Alec would have to take care of, just like he did when he was a child and had to take care of his siblings when his father was full of grief for his mother. In this case though, while Cordelia actually needs Alec, Alec also allows himself to need Cordelia and the relationship they build is beautiful. You will enjoy the appearance from many of the Sullivans and learn more about the New York Sullivans. Another must read - I couldn't put it down and can't wait to get more snippets from Alec in the future.

I love the Sullivan Series
I am grateful to be an ARC reader for my favorite series. I give you might honest opinion. It’s book 17, but book 3 for New York Summer Lake Sullivan’s. When Alec’s partner Gordon dies, he leave his estate to his daughter he gave up for adoption. Cordelia didn’t know her birth father and Alec didn’t know his best friend had a daughter but he feels very protective of her. Being the oldest of William’s children, Alec has been taking care of his sibling for a very long time. So at first being protective feels normal....but feelings grow and Alec doesn’t think he can do normal relationship. This is great story as all Sullivan come together and are reintroduced.

This series keeps getting better and better. I was looking forward to reading Alec’s story. I knew he would fight falling in love. Bella Andre did not disappoint. Special circumstances bought Alec and Cordelia. Even though the main characters came from different worlds, they found a connection.

I don’t know how Bella Andre does it. She’s written so many Sullivan stories and each and every one is unique with well-rounded characters. She always manages to give us a great romance and as a bonus she weaves such great stories with the interactions of the Sullivan family. These stories are always sweet and manage to make me feel so good as I lose myself in the story. You Do Something To Me is another one of these excellent stories that Bella does so great! You Do Something To Me starts out when Alec Sullivan’s business partner and friend suddenly dies and he is shocked to find out that not only does his partner have a daughter, Cordelia, he never knew about, but that he left his half of the business to her. This was a shock to Alec, but he handled the situation so well, you can’t help but fall in love with him. Cordelia (I think this name is sooo perfect for her) is such a steady and strong heroine. She grew up knowing she was adopted and had a great childhood. She always knew what she wanted to do and is so comfortable with herself. I loved her! I must confess that I always have a favorite with the books I read- be it the hero, the heroine or a funny secondary character. In You Do Something To Me, Cordelia was my favorite. She truly ended up being Alec’s Knight In Shining Armor. This was a story I read straight through with a smile on my face and I so recommend it if you love sweet romances with real depth to the story. If you haven’t read a Sullivan story before (you have no idea what you are missing!), you can read this book as a standalone. But I have to warn you, once you read one Sullivan, you WILL want to read them all! I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this novel. I am voluntarily and freely providing an honest review

A good read
3.5 Stars This was an overall good read. I completely adored Cordelia. Even with the huge surprise that was thrown her way, she was a fantastic heroine. I had a lot of issues with Alec’s character. I get being jaded by the past and so on, but he came off more as a spoiled child throwing a temper tantrum than someone who was truly hurt from the past during some parts. Luckily he pulled his head outta his butt and I ended up loving him. Catching up with previous Sullivan’s might have been my favorite part of this book, and seeing the NY Sullivan’s finally begin to heal. While this definitely isn’t one of my top Sullivan reads, I would still recommend grabbing it.

A Mixed Bag
I always enjoy Bella Andre’s books. She’s one of my go-to authors so I was unprepared for the disappointment that crept over me as I read “You Do Something To Me”. The plot is strong and entertaining and the pacing dragged early on but picked up about a quarter of the way in. The main characters, Alec Sullivan and Cordelia Langley, are a mixed bag. Alec is not especially likable at first but grows on you as his depths and complexities are revealed. Cordelia on the other hand, is seemingly perfect. With no flaws, she’s too patient, too sweet, too forgiving, too smart, too beautiful. She’s too much. Also, I can’t recall a Bella Andre book more in need of some scrupulous editing. As annoying as they are, typos seem inevitable in the world of ebooks but not so for mangled sentences, redundancies, trite/stale phrasing and fluffy prose. Each of the last 5 or 6 books I’ve read contained two or more uses of “beyond a shadow of a doubt”. I expected better of Ms Andre. Even though it’s technically correct, I’m still puzzling over her use of the British term “bespoke” instead of the more recognizable “tailor-made, custom made, or custom tailored.” Why? And since I’m on a rant, potatoes are root vegetables. Since they’re usually planted 10-12” deep, they must be “dug” to be harvested. All in all, #17 in The Sullivans series is an okay read. Though I must admit, the love scenes are off the charts hot, which is all good.

Bella Andre has a way of writing a series that keeps your interest throughout the entire series. While Alex is a complex personality and Cordelia is so sweet that you would hesitate to think they could get along, Bella develops their story beautifully. Keeping up with the entire Sullivan family is an added benefit. I can't wait for Harry's story; plus the Maine side of the family.

This is a wonderful addition to The Sullivans Series. I just can't pick a favorite Sullivan. I love them all. I can't wait to see what happened next with this wonderful family. I received this ARC for an honest review. Alec has become my second favorite Sullivan. He is strong, thoughtful, and yes stubborn. Cordelia is his match. She refuses to be intimidated by anyone. I love how Bella wrote these characters. Even though this is her 17th Sullivan book, she still giving us a fresh story line. This book is a roller coaster ride of emotions. Please give it a try.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book, You Do Something To Me by Bella Andre. Getting a Bella Andre ARC is like Christmas, payday, your birthday and your anniversary all rolled into one. Yeah, that great!!! You Do Something To Me is definitely one of Bella’s best ever written books. Alec just lost his business partner and if that isn’t bad enough, he is thrown for a major loop when he learns that Gordon had a daughter no one knew about and he left everything to her. Cordelia is shocked to learn that her birth father, that she knew nothing about, left her everything in his will. They each have a lot they are dealing with but just maybe they can get through it together.

I'm so happy I have finished reading "You Do Something to Me". I am also sad that I have finished reading, since I really wanted the story to keep going. Alec Sullivan is a Billionaire private aircraft owner. He meets the daughter of his recently deceased partner and he can't stop thinking about her. Cordelia Langley is an amazing gardener who owns her own garden center. She meets Alec after learning that her birth father left her half of his company and only lived a short distance from her all her life. Alec's emotionally painful childhood contributes to his adult belief that he can't love. Cordelia believes everyone should be loved. Becoming friends makes their relationship different for both of them. Family events open their eyes to see the past in a different way. A Mixed Bag
I always enjoy Bella Andre’s books. She’s one of my go-to authors so I was unprepared for the disappointment that crept over me as I read “You Do Something To Me”. The plot is strong and entertaining and the pacing dragged early on but picked up about a quarter of the way in. The main characters, Alec Sullivan and Cordelia Langley, are a mixed bag. Alec is not especially likable at first but grows on you as his depths and complexities are revealed. Cordelia on the other hand, is seemingly perfect. With no flaws, she’s too patient, too sweet, too forgiving, too smart, too beautiful. She’s too much. Also, I can’t recall a Bella Andre book more in need of some scrupulous editing. As annoying as they are, typos seem inevitable in the world of ebooks but not so for mangled sentences, redundancies, trite/stale phrasing and fluffy prose. Each of the last 5 or 6 books I’ve read contained two or more uses of “beyond a shadow of a doubt”. I expected better of Ms Andre. Even though it’s technically correct, I’m still puzzling over her use of the British term “bespoke” instead of the more recognizable “tailor-made, custom made, or custom tailored.” Why? And since I’m on a rant, potatoes are root vegetables. Since they’re usually planted 10-12” deep, they must be “dug” to be harvested. All in all, #17 in The Sullivans series is an okay read. Though I must admit, the love scenes are off the charts hot, which is all good.

Sullivan's keep getting better!
Bella Andre has a way of writing a series that keeps your interest throughout the entire series. While Alex is a complex personality and Cordelia is so sweet that you would hesitate to think they could get along, Bella develops their story beautifully. Keeping up with the entire Sullivan family is an added benefit. I can't wait for Harry's story; plus the Maine side of the family.

"You Do Something To Me" (The New York Sullivans Book 3/The Sullivans Book 17) by Bella Andre is a fantastic read. I loved Alec and Cordelia's story. This is a wonderful addition to The Sullivans Series. I just can't pick a favorite Sullivan. I love them all. I can't wait to see what happened next with this wonderful family. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, family, entertaining characters, and series.

I received this ARC for an honest review. Alec has become my second favorite Sullivan. He is strong, thoughtful, and yes stubborn. Cordelia is his match. She refuses to be intimidated by anyone. I love how Bella wrote these characters. Even though this is her 17th Sullivan book, she still giving us a fresh story line. This book is a roller coaster ride of emotions. Please give it a try.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book, You Do Something To Me by Bella Andre. Getting a Bella Andre ARC is like Christmas, payday, your birthday and your anniversary all rolled into one. Yeah, that great!!! You Do Something To Me is definitely one of Bella’s best ever written books. Alec just lost his business partner and if that isn’t bad enough, he is thrown for a major loop when he learns that Gordon had a daughter no one knew about and he left everything to her. Cordelia is shocked to learn that her birth father, that she knew nothing about, left her everything in his will. They each have a lot they are dealing with but just maybe they can get through it together.

I'm so happy I have finished reading "You Do Something to Me". I am also sad that I have finished reading, since I really wanted the story to keep going. Alec Sullivan is a Billionaire private aircraft owner. He meets the daughter of his recently deceased partner and he can't stop thinking about her. Cordelia Langley is an amazing gardener who owns her own garden center. She meets Alec after learning that her birth father left her half of his company and only lived a short distance from her all her life. Alec's emotionally painful childhood contributes to his adult belief that he can't love. Cordelia believes everyone should be loved. Becoming friends makes their relationship different for both of them. Family events open their eyes to see the past in a different way. Can viewing the past from an adult point of view change their friendship as well. Thank you Bella Andre for another wonderful Sullivan story!

Love the Sullivans!

He is happy his siblings are finding love but that is something he wants no part of. Cordelia has just found out that her biological father left his entire estate to her. Overwhelmed and shocked her father was so close but never reached out in walks Alex into her life. Life threw Alec and Cordelia a curve but in the best possible way. Now Alec needs to figure out that love is exactly what he needs and Cordelia is the woman perfect for him. So ready for Harry’s story.

I love family sagas with a close knit family like the Sullivan's! Ms. Andre writes a beautiful story of love, family, strength, and being there for each other. This is my first Sullivan book to review. I have read the first six books already and have loved each and every one. Alec broke my heart believing that he did not deserve love and that he would let Cordelia down if he committed to her. Cordelia is so strong in character and love not only for her parents but for Alec, too. Both, Alec and Cordelia make it a point to be there for each other in their times of need. Slowly and methodically Cordelia changes Alec's mind and heart about love. It takes a major shift for Alec to finally let both his father and Cordelia completely into his heart and life. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review of "You Do Something To Me" by Bella Andre. If you love big families with strong characters and as always a HEA then this book is for you. Hot Alpha Male doesn't hurt either.

My favorite family!
Every time I think the Sullivan series can’t get any better, I’m proven wrong. I absolutely loved watching Alec fall in love with Cordelia. He was so hard headed, and determined to stay single to protect himself and his heart. He never saw Cordelia coming. Their story was sweet and I loved the romance. I definitely can’t wait for Harry’s story next.

Will Alex touch down for Cordelia?
Love, love, love Alec and Cordelia! Both Alec and Cordelia have the shock of their lives when Alec's business partner dies and that leads to their meeting. And the help they both provide in getting through their grief. Alec is a high-powered aviation executive and Cordelia owns and runs her own nursery. On paper, Alec and Cordelia do not seem to be two people that would work together or even worse is it that Cordelia is someone that Alec would have to take care of, just like he did when he was a child and had to take care of his siblings when his father was full of grief for his mother. In this case though, while Cordelia actually needs Alec, Alec also allows himself to need Cordelia and the relationship they build is beautiful. You will enjoy the appearance from many of the Sullivans and learn more about the New York Sullivans. Another must read - I couldn't put it down and can't wait to get more snippets from Alec in the future.

I love the Sullivan Series
I am grateful to be an ARC reader for my favorite series. I give you might honest opinion. It’s book 17, but book 3 for New York Summer Lake Sullivan’s. When Alec’s partner Gordon dies, he leave his estate to his daughter he gave up for adoption. Cordelia didn’t know her birth father and Alec didn’t know his best friend had a daughter but he feels very protective of her. Being the oldest of William’s children, Alec has been taking care of his sibling for a very long time. So at first being protective feels normal....but feelings grow and Alec doesn’t think he can do normal relationship. This is great story as all Sullivan come together and are reintroduced.

This series keeps getting better and better. I was looking forward to reading Alec’s story. I knew he would fight falling in love. Bella Andre did not disappoint. Special circumstances bought Alec and Cordelia. Even though the main characters came from different worlds, they found a connection.

Another Soaring Hit!
I don’t know how Bella Andre does it. She’s written so many Sullivan stories and each and every one is unique with well-rounded characters. She always manages to give us a great romance and as a bonus she weaves such great stories with the interactions of the Sullivan family. These stories are always sweet and manage to make me feel so good as I lose myself in the story. You Do Something To Me is another one of these excellent stories that Bella does so great! You Do Something To Me starts out when Alec Sullivan’s business partner and friend suddenly dies and he is shocked to find out that not only does his partner have a daughter, Cordelia, he never knew about, but that he left his half of the business to her. This was a shock to Alec, but he handled the situation so well, you can’t help but fall in love with him. Cordelia (I think this name is sooo perfect for her) is such a steady and strong heroine. She grew up knowing she was adopted and had a great childhood. She always knew what she wanted to do and is so comfortable with herself. I loved her! I must confess that I always have a favorite with the books I read- be it the hero, the heroine or a funny secondary character. In You Do Something To Me, Cordelia was my favorite. She truly ended up being Alec’s Knight In Shining Armor. This was a story I read straight through with a smile on my face and I so recommend it if you love sweet romances with real depth to the story. If you haven’t read a Sullivan story before (you have no idea what you are missing!), you can read this book as a standalone. But I have to warn you, once you read one Sullivan, you WILL want to read them all! I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this novel. I am voluntarily and freely providing an honest review

With an unexpected inheritance, Cordelia comes into his life. She was the daughter of Gordon, the man who had been a father figure for him. She would accept,but donate, she only wanted her garden world, to her he was a stranger. Alex was ready to make a deal, yet, something within him wanted to help her. Gordon wanted her to have it, now to figure out how. The heat between, as they, continued to see each other, couldn't be ignored. Great love story, and readers will once again love another Sullivan story. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

A good read
3.5 Stars This was an overall good read. I completely adored Cordelia. Even with the huge surprise that was thrown her way, she was a fantastic heroine. I had a lot of issues with Alec’s character. I get being jaded by the past and so on, but he came off more as a spoiled child throwing a temper tantrum than someone who was truly hurt from the past during some parts. Luckily he pulled his head outta his butt and I ended up loving him. Catching up with previous Sullivan’s might have been my favorite part of this book, and seeing the NY Sullivan’s finally begin to heal. While this definitely isn’t one of my top Sullivan reads, I would still recommend grabbing it.

So at first being protective feels normal....but feelings grow and Alec doesn’t think he can do normal relationship. This is great story as all Sullivan come together and are reintroduced.

Love It!
This series keeps getting better and better. I was looking forward to reading Alec’s story. I knew he would fight falling in love. Bella Andre did not disappoint. Special circumstances bought Alec and Cordelia. Even though the main characters came from different worlds, they found a connection.

Another Soaring Hit!
I don’t know how Bella Andre does it. She’s written so many Sullivan stories and each and every one is unique with well-rounded characters. She always manages to give us a great romance and as a bonus she weaves such great stories with the interactions of the Sullivan family. These stories are always sweet and manage to make me feel so good as I lose myself in the story. You Do Something To Me is another one of these excellent stories that Bella does so great! You Do Something To Me starts out when Alec Sullivan’s business partner and friend suddenly dies and he is shocked to find out that not only does his partner have a daughter, Cordelia, he never knew about, but that he left his half of the business to her. This was a shock to Alec, but he handled the situation so well, you can’t help but fall in love with him. Cordelia (I think this name is sooo perfect for her) is such a steady and strong heroine. She grew up knowing she was adopted and had a great childhood. She always knew what she wanted to do and is so comfortable with herself. I loved her! I must confess that I always have a favorite with the books I read- be it the hero, the heroine or a funny secondary character. In You Do Something To Me, Cordelia was my favorite. She truly ended up being Alec’s Knight In Shining Armor. This was a story I read straight through with a smile on my face and I so recommend it if you love sweet romances with real depth to the story. If you haven’t read a Sullivan story before (you have no idea what you are missing!), you can read this book as a standalone. But I have to warn you, once you read one Sullivan, you WILL want to read them all! I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this novel. I am voluntarily and freely providing an honest review

YOU DO SOMETHING TO ME. by Bella Andre. Book 17 in Sullivan's,and book 3 in "New York Sullivan's This story is about Alex, who we have met before, he is rich, but has a lot of personal baggage. With an unexpected inheritance, Cordelia comes into his life. She was the daughter of Gordon, the man who had been a father figure for him. She would accept,but donate, she only wanted her garden world, to her he was a stranger. Alex was ready to make a deal, yet, something within him wanted to help her. Gordon wanted her to have it, now to figure out how. The heat between, as they, continued to see each other, couldn't be ignored. Great love story, and readers will once again love another Sullivan story. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

Swoon! Alec Sullivan is totally swoon-worthy and just another in a long line of Sullivan leading men that I love! Little did Alec know when his business partner, who was closer than a father, passed away unexpectedly, his life would forever change. Turns out that there was a long lost daughter...enter Cordelia Langley. Cordelia grew up with loving parents, a simple life and everything she thought she wanted. She always knew she was adopted but it never bothered her, since she had everything she needed. Her plants and nursery, her simple life...enter Alec Sullivan.... This is a love story. It is about redemption from the past, letting go of regrets and grabbing on to the future you never knew you wanted. Once again, Bella brings the characters to life with her beautiful words, capturing the same spirit we have come to love from all of the Sullivans. Can’t wait for Harry’s HEA.

A good read
3.5 Stars This was an overall good read. I completely adored Cordelia. Even with the huge surprise that was thrown her way, she was a fantastic heroine. I had a lot of issues with Alec’s character. I get being jaded by the past and so on, but he came off more as a spoiled child throwing a temper tantrum than someone who was truly hurt from the past during some parts. Luckily he pulled his head outta his butt and I ended up loving him. Catching up with previous Sullivan’s might have been my favorite part of this book, and seeing the NY Sullivan’s finally begin to heal. While this definitely isn’t one of my top Sullivan reads, I would still recommend grabbing it.
